Dear Justice Souter,

It saddens me greatly that you will be leaving the Supreme Court in June.

However.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for waiting until Bush left office. I know this was your plan, and I greatly appreciate you not croaking before we elected someone sensible into office.

Please feel free to suggest some names to President Obama so that we can continue to maintain at least 5 justices who aren't cuckoo for cocoa puffs on the bench. (Particularly since Breyer jumped off the deep end a couple of weeks ago when he joined Alito's dissent in Arizona v. Gant. Give him a refresher course in sanity before you leave, if you will. Thanks.)
