I'm waiting for Bravo to re-run the latest episode of Project Runway, so I thought I'd take a little time to blog while Anderson Cooper talks about the nasty bugs sleeping with me on my pillow. Originally I planned to do a more personal blog about the length of my day and the memorable moments, but I decided that probably would bore the snot out of you guys. (I will tell you though that I almost went into an interview with my pants unzipped. You see, they've got three freakin buttons on them and by the time I get done with all that, I forget the zipper.) Anyway, so I'm skipping the daily diary blog, but I will give you something personal.
Do any of you ever watch Inside the Actors Studio With James Lipton? At the end James Lipton asks guests (who used to be outstanding performers but are now the likes of Martin Lawrence) Bernard Pivot's 10 Questions. Since I'll never be famous enough for James Lipton to ask me, I thought I'd just offer them up in a narcissistic blog entry.

I'm not really prepared to answer this one. There's this one word I really like the sound of that I can't think of right now. I think I'm going to cheat and come back to this one at a later date.

No.
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
the ocean

arrogance, self-entitlement, closed-mindedness (AKA W)
5. What is your favorite curse word?
Duh - you all know it's fuck, fairly obvious. Recently I'm into saying "balls!" though.

7. What sound or noise do you hate?
my alarm clock in the morning
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
professional surfing, does that count? If not that, maybe movie critic.
9. What profession would you not like to do?
anything involving driving a large vehicle - bus, 18-wheeler, giant SUV. this of course excludes driving a bulldozer, tractor or other destructive machinery - that shit would be fun.

addendum to blog - today Friday, Feb 3, 2006, I again almost went into an interview with pants unzipped. It was only in laughing about yesterday's near-miss did I realize I hadn't done a zipper check today. Good thing. Carry on baring your souls to the internet.

I tend to overuse the word "seriously," so in a way, that's my favorite word.
2. What is your least favorite word?
It's not so much one word, but three. When someone says, "I'm sorry, but..." they're not REALLY sorry at all. And that ticks me off. If you don't mean to apologize for something, don't!
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Music - nearly any kind. Gospel choirs, classical music, classic rock...
4. What turns you off?
Anyone that lacks class and tact. Good manners go a long way in my book.

After I said that people lacking class and tact turn me off, I'm going to have to say that "fuck" is my favorite curse word as well. So much for class...

Children laughing
