two bizarre things

here's a quickie for you guys.

so there are two "news" stories i read today that contained minor details that really someone needs to be reporting on.

1. Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora are separating, we all know, but i linked from PITNB to a story about Heather reading one of Sambora's emails or something. First line of the story, "Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora were working through a rough patch in their marriage, due mostly to the strife of two busy careers." That's right two busy careers. What careers? I think Heather is hanging on by a thread to her tv acting, but even that doesn't seem to be going staggeringly well. And Richie Sambora?! Is Bon Jovi doing a reunion I don't know about? Surely he's not trying some solo crap. Anyway, seems like "two busy careers" must be code for "too busy screwing other people."

2. In a bizarre story from Florida, one of the collaborators on the Curious George books and movies was found dead. In some trash bags. In the driveway of his mobile home. Whuh? Why is one of Curious George writers living in a mobile home? This raises so many questions I don't even want to get into. I know it's been awhile since the heyday of that funny monkey, but dude, movie rights and royalties and all that should keep one out of a trailer park.
