22 1/2 pages, but more material than 2 1/2 pages, so I'm not as close to done as a I thought. Thank God for footnotes taking up lots of space, but damn footnotes because they are a effing pain in the ass. footnote count at this point = 152.
absolutely nothing fun to report. hopefully will finish rough draft tomorrow.

I don't know if I've ever even seen a paper with 152 footnoes. . . yikes! Definitely sounds like a lot of work. Good luck! You're almost done!
