Random AllCaps

* Being sick in foreign country without Airborne SUCKS. Am taking all kinds of bizarre concoctions of herbal remedies in order to stave off impending cold. On top of that, lady at the pharmacy laughed at me. Yeah, she was mean.

* Have discovered something called a Cheddarmite Scroll that is DELICIOUS. Think cinnamon roll except with cheese and vegemite where the cinnamon goes - don't knock it til you try it. For reals.

* Dear God (or should I address this to Al Gore since he invented the internet?), THANK YOU for Itunes and the innovation of watching new episodes of tv shows online. Wentworth Miller is still hot and frankly so is the guy that plays his brother and it's lovely to watch them in action from Australia. Please advise on whether is good idea to download the episodes of Project Runway. Love, Niki

* Feel bad about self for wanting the Vanity Fair pictures of the Cruise-Holmes kid. Do not want to encourage this nonsense, but really want to see those pictures. Perhaps just cannot let go of instinctual reaction to purchase Tom Cruise magazines instilled from my Tom-crazy days. Also think everyone is being mean on the blogosphere by saying Suri looks like Chris Klein. To me that child has somehow managed to look EXACTLY like both parents - she seems to have Katie's eyes and Tom's facial structure, or something, I dunno, I can't pinpoint it, but she looks like them both. Why does she have so much hair, though? Enough of this already.

* Desperately wish there was a dryer in this house and that Australians in general used dryers more. With my DINKY laundry rack I can only do one load at a time. This is helpful since I hate folding clothes, but sucky when all clothes are dirty, as tends to happen when I do laundry.

* WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ARE THERE NO INDEX CARDS IN AUSTRALIA?? Also wish they had Curel lotion, as I'm allergic to most other lotions. Whatever will I moisturize with now that I've run out of what I brought? Big problems people, big problems.

My Nikkers without her Curel?! That's like a fish without water! I'd better look into how much it costs to ship it down under!

I think I'll pass on the cheddarmite... I have heard the word that vegemite is NASTY

Okay, I could totally NOT live without lotion, so I really hope you're able to find something that works for you.

And no index cards? How is possible that we have spread McDonald's all over the world, but not index cards?

I, also, think that Suri looks so much like both Tom and Katie. I think she's a beautiful baby, actually, I still just do not know why they sheltered her for so long! I also am fighting temptation to buy magazine. It's got 22 pages of pictures! Probably will loose battle when am actually faced with it in grocery store line. I have resisted making a special trip just to buy it! go me.

hmm, I love cinnamon rolls too much to go withtout the cinnamon. Not to mention replacing it with something with a mite?! sounds kinda nasty if you ask me.

Sorry about the lotion. I was thinking the same thing as Megan; maybe we could split the shipping cost, so give us your address and I'm sure it will only take about a month before you have a shipment of lotion and index cards!

Thanks so much guys - you are the bomb! Will let you know if emergency shipment is necessary. Today I spent $20AUS on lotions to find one that works. I even took curel bottle with me to compare ingredients!

As for vegemite, megs, you are correct - in general it is gross. HOWEVER, in moderation and with cheddar cheese, it is delish!

i hate to say, but that suri baby might even be cuter than my own. still a dumbass name, though.

I have to say, I am the queen of puns at the office, but even "Yes, Suri, She's Our Baby" made me cringe. What a head full of hair! However much she looks like them, that head full of hair is weird. Be patient, Nik. I'm pretty sure the full 22-page spread will be on Perez Hilton in a couple of days.

Re emergency supplies - you just say the word and we'll put Operation Save Niki's Skin into motion.

You love Wentworth Miller too? YAY! I watch Prison Break for him. I loved the show when they were still in prison but now that they're out the story line is sorta meh but he is still sexy and brooding...
