Half Empty or Half Full?

Our DonorsChoose thermometer over there on the left is about half way to the top! This is fantastic because two of our proposals have been completely fulfilled. Some kids in Walterboro, SC are getting to create stories of their years in primary school written and starring them, because we've all bought them a digital camera and printer. In Riegelwood, NC each fifth grader will be up to speed on important events with their Time Magazine for Kids subscription. Their teacher has this to say in an email:

Thank you so much for your willingness to help my students. I've told them that we will be getting Time Magazine for Kids and we will be able to use them in both reading and social studies class. That's the GOOD news. The Bad news is that we need about $645 to complete our goal and fulfill the last two proposals.
