I bought him a new toy yesterday (ok, three new toys, shut up), hoping that he would fetch it instead of "Squeaky the green alien." It's not that I don't love Squeaky, it's just that Squeaky is gross now and I kind of hate touching it.
Things were going well. We were fetching in the kitchen/foyer (the only place he will fetch, because it's without distractions). I found my camera, got a cute video of him, and then proceeded to take pictures.
Then it happened. I accidentally deleted the video. Dirty words escaped my mouth.
The two videos below are me trying, somewhat in vain, to recapture the moment. He was sort of over it at the time of filming, but what the hell, that's cute, too, right?
(Please excuse the video quality - this was a one-woman operation. The orange effect - I got no clue.)

So cute! It's so much fun to watch him play - and he's getting bigger :)
Have you noticed that he matches your floors and cabinets almost exactly??
he is adorable. i love how he just takes his good ole time to fetch! he's so me!
I LOVE IT!
I think that's pretty impressive! Super cute. I hear you on loving when dogs learn fetch, because it means a lot less effort on your part!
Boss was always the slowest when we were in group class to "come." All the other dogs would sit so antsy and as soon as they were called, they took off running as fast as they could to get to their owner. . Boss would just sit there and look so regal and when I called him, he'd slowly meander my way, but would make no major effort and might even go by and get some pets from other people on his way, if he was so inclined. He also took his time sitting, too, when we were heeling, so we always lost that "red light, green light game" because he's be the last to do the automatic sit when I stopped walking. But, I still think as long as they eventually get to it, right?
Masala is too cute, as always!
