We are currently under a "high wind warning" from the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service describes "high wind warning" as:
A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTEDOR OCCURRING. SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH OR GUSTS OF58 MPH OR MORE CAN LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE...DOWNED TREES ANDPOWER OUTAGES.
I describe "high wind warning" as:
A really good reason to:
A) Leave work early - gotta get home before the wind picks up
B) Skip my work out - so my car doesn't fly off the road
C) Abbreviate my dog walk - don't want to end up like Dorothy and Toto
D) Sit on the couch in "scrubs" and watch my newly arrived from Blockbuster Season 3, Discs 3 and 4 of Grey's Anatomy
E) All of the above
High wind event? Interesting.
