Did you guys watch the Today show for our Kids on the Block?
I just caught it on the interweb, and here are the two clips for those of you without TiVo, VCR, DVR, or who just plain forgot (or, are in Budapest):
Q1: Do you think your old favorite is still your favorite, or do you have to change Kids?
For me, it's still undecided, but I think Joe may have my vote these days. Then again, if Donnie puts on some ripped jeans, thrusts his hips, and sings "Covergirl" to me...I'm pretty sure I'll change my mind.
Q2: New music - good idea or bad idea?
I think this is a lame idea. That clip from one of their new songs...hated it. Then again, my music tastes have thankfully matured since the 5th grade. Hopefully they have realized that most of their "target" audience has as well.

Jordan still looks like a perv.
Time has not improved poor Danny a bit. I wonder what it's like to be the obvious least fave kid?
Donnie looked ok...I can't get into that goatee, though...
Jon looked like he really, REALLY didn't want to be there. Did y'all get that vibe too?
Joe, while still cute, needs. to. do. something. with. those. eyebrows. now.
I think my preference has changed to from Joe to Jon. Dunno why. He makes a cuter "man" than "kid," I suppose. But if Joe does somethin' with those brows, maybe I'll change back.
God, I have given this WAY too much thought.
I taped it, but haven't watched it yet. Thanks to the clips, I don't have to fast forward through three hours of tape (thanks, Nik!). I didn't realize that they weren't going to perform--that is lame. But I'll be checking in on the 16th for sure.

Here's my thoughts:
1. Why is everyone dogging Danny? I think he looked hot, for him. He's not my fave--but c'mon--he's not that bad. Or am I just lonely?
2. Joey--still my fave. I'll be loving him forever. Zing.
3.Jordan's voice - is it me, or did he sound less like a man than he did way back when? I mean for reals, yo--go back to your previous clip of them performing, then listen to now. It's different.
4. The new music clip is exactly what I expected from them. I'm sure I'll love it!

I have to agree with Red, that poor Danny looked decent for him!
I used to like Jordan. so sad and I definitely would have to change that. . he seems. . too clean? too still like a young kid? or like he's trying too hard to be young? something.
I am a fan of Donnie from Boomtown, which didn't last long, but was a really good show. And I thought he was too old and cool for this way back when so I'm kind of surprised he's on board. It's just so weird to see men.
I have to say Joey is kind of hot, though. I wonder if he'll hit those high notes?! whew. it'll be interesting. I'll stay tuned for your clips on May 16th.
