Sometimes I wonder how Masala feels about me. He is always SO excited to see other people and other dogs, it makes me question if he happens to be this (wo)man's best and most loyal friend. Frequently, when I want him to come to me, he actually runs away from me. Also, sometimes when we chill on the couch, I try to cuddle or pet him. . .he is not so much a fan. He will get up and lay on the rug instead.
Tonight, though, I can't hang out on the couch because I'm stuck at the computer doing work (apart from checking email and writing this blog). For awhile Little M did his usual destruction of the living room and jumping on the counters in the kitchen. Unlike most nights when I'm at the computer, where he does this until I am forced to confine him to a small space, he has decided to rest and be a good boy.
And just where has he decided to rest?
Right at my feet. I'm not kidding. It's the cutest thing ever. He just parked his little butt next to my chair and laid down. I really, really want to take a picture, but if I get up to get my camera, I know the little bugger will move. He's so close that if I even try to push my chair back to get up, I'm going to hit him. Aww.

So sweet! My cats, in the general of nature of cats, can be all over me one minute and wanting me to get the hell away the next. When they decide they want to come curl up on my lap or snuggle in my arms, I feel super special.
Masala, such sweetness to go with all that cuteness! Speaking of, have we seen pics lately?
my dog will do that and i'll have a moment. then i'll realise i forgot to feed her.
