Whenever I need inspiration for computer wallpaper, I always turn to National Geographic. A couple of days ago, I came across this photo which has captivated me. Something about it is so striking and beautiful and interesting and soothing all at once.
It's called a flamingo tongued snail - you can read more about it and see other underwater creatures (including shrimp's eyes!!) here.

Wow, that is amazing!
Dan and I are currently watching "Planet Earth." I have to look away anytime an animal is hurt or suffering, but other than that, I am loving it!
Wow, I would have had NO idea what this was! Very cool, though. Very cool!
Whoa! Very cool. My husband does the very same thing for his wallpaper, he's all about the National Geo.
That is very cool! And so beautiful. Nature is truly amazing -- people would pay a lot of money for fabric with such a cool pattern!
We watched some of the Planet Earth with Dellaina - and we'd have to fast forward the parts where there was chasing or mauling and death, but it's totally fascinating. And Sigourney Weaver narrating!
