Weekend Update

Things on My Weekend "To-Do" List
* Laundry
* Tidy up the kitchen/do dishes
* Grocery shopping
* Clean out the refrigerator
* Bathe Masala
* Laundry
* Work on jury trials slated for 11/17
* Read more of The Subtle Knife
* Complete Rome Season 2 DVDs
* Clean out my car
* Visit the Origins store to buy new make-up in light of crazy new hair color
* Did I mention laundry?
* Back-up digital pictures
* Get Drunk
* Workout - yoga and running

Things on My Weekend "I Did It" List - : ) indicates completion of one of the above activities
* Stayed up until 3:30AM Saturday night. . .resulting in sleeping in until 11AM Sunday morning (which I haven't done in who knows how long)
* Watched 1 episode of Rome
* Ate bad Chinese food
* Grocery shopping (sort of) : )
* Watched Don Draper, er Jon Hamm, host SNL (Do you watch Mad Men? YOU NEED TO WATCH.)
* Online Scrabble - I lost. AGAIN. This time I wasn't even drunk.
* Shopped for two hours in Target, dropping in excess of $300 and thus satisfying Target for their loss of income from me in the last year
* Purchased groovy new sheets, a nifty little upholstery pet hair removal gadget, a pet shower, new sports bras, and lots of crap that I really, really need, cross my heart.
* Went to the beach with M!
* Bathed M (with new shower thingamabobber) : )
* Laid in bed for 2 hours for no apparent reason 11:30AM - 1:30PM Saturday afternoon
* Drank 3/4 of a bottle of wine  : )
* Laundry: 4, Niki: 3 - doing laundry for me is like a cricket match, you never know when it's going to end.  Usually laundry wins the marathon sessions, but I'm motivated and I'm catching up, so we'll see who wins throughout the course of the week (I know, I know, probably laundry).   : )
* Running - 30 mins Friday night : ) (except really :( because I need to do better than that)

For the Mad Men fans - my favorite sketch from last night's SNL (if anyone can find me video of his opening monologue, I'll give you a cookie):

Jon Hamm's John Ham was also hilarious... nasty, but hilarious. I thought the ep was the best SNL that's been on in a long time.
