Right now the score is 49-3, Florida over Georgia, nearing the end of the 4th quarter. Not sure what the final score will be, but it's pretty safe to say that Florida kicked Georgia's ass all over the field.
Some thoughts:
* I never thought anyone would overthrow Danny Wuerffel as my all-time favorite Florida QB, but Tim Tebow may be doing just that. I heart him. (Just so we're clear - this is pure athletic admiration type love, not 13-year-old girl heartthrob kind of love.)
* I will admit the following: A) Crazy calls on the ref's part in the first half that seemed like they were purposefully going the way of Floriday. B) Florida players got away with some touching and shirt-pulling that should've been called.
* The above (*) may mean something if the score were closer, but in a blowout like this, just a little salt in the wound, I think.
* Two syllables: PLAY.OFF. Remind me again, who is in favor of this stupid BCS crap? That's what I thought. No one.
* Damn you extra-point that was missed against Ole Miss. I've been watching lots of football lately, and my semi-biased opinion is UF is one of the best in the country, if not the best. See above. Play.off.
* They kept talking about some celebration thing from last year's game. I don't remember that. Did I not watch? I feel sure that I watched.
* Knowshon, I still kind of like you. You can thank Tempe for that.
* I wish I were still in college, just for the day.
