G'day Mates

Nothing of note to post, but wanted to let you all know that I've made it back alive from the journey to the center of Oz. The trip was fantastic. We had a blast. Full details to come later, but I'm too groggy and hungover today to do a proper recounting of our adventures.

Fear not, however, for the entire experience is well documented in my almost 300 pictures! Don't worry - I'm going to do some serious editing and selecting before subjecting you to the torture of viewing.

Here's a preview of things to come: The picture below is aboriginal art on rocks in the Kakadu National Park.

This next picture explains the significance of the figure:

In case you can't read it: This is Nabulwinjbulwinj. He is a dangerous spirit who eats females after striking them with a yam. His name is pronounced Nar-bull-win-bull-win.

LOVES it.
