Happy Anniversary to Nik's Notes! Approximately one year and three days ago (give or take some hours for the time difference), I entered the blogosphere to enrich all of your daily lives, or well, to give you something to read for a moment at work. Actually, if you read the first post (which I don't recommend actually, it's long, not funny, and incredibly mundane), I began as part of my everlasting search for inventive procrastination measures. Lo and behold, it's worked! In fact, I've just spent 30 minutes of valuable library study time reading my own damn blog. Wow. Only three more hours and I can leave for the gym....
In honor of the first anniversary, I'm linking to my favorite of the first three posts from the first day. Lucky for me I started my blog just in the knick of time to preserve one of my kitchen fires for posterity.
Anyway, thanks readers for continuing to come back here and read my nonsense. Hopefully you enjoy it even a fraction of how much I do. (Also am glad so many of you took the plunge and started blogs of your very own!!) Promise to have Outback stories soon.
