DWTS: Week 3, Live Updates

Last week we said goodbye to Penn and Monica. Really, pretty happy to see Penn go (something seems sort of asshole-y about him). Monica, I think is actually pretty cool and I felt sorry for her because she was so clearly out of her element. Honestly, would've been cool to see how she progressed, but I do understand why she got the boot.

This week: live updates as they dance.

Marlee - You know I love you Marlee, and that color you had on was tres cute...but I have to say, this dance was not your best. Timing was off a little bit and the transitions weren't that smooth. Overall, I agree with the judges; it was about a 7.

Steve - Your partner's dress was sexy. She was so good, I didn't really pay attention to you. How do you stay so glow-y, Steve? I need your skin secret.

Cristian - This dance didn't really do anything for me. I think that I don't like your partner. Something about her bugs me. Her hair reminds me of an outgrown bowl cut. Not attractive. Nothing special, but nothing terrible either. Passable.

Mario - Truly, not so wowed by this performance. So far all the performances have gotten off to a decent start, then sort of faltered mid-way through. This was no exception. And I agree with Carrie Ann - you and partner-girl totally seem like you're in the middle of a lover's quarrel. Love it! P.S. Who are you anyway? It says you're a recording star, but you're touring high schools and colleges?? Clearly this is a publicity stunt for your career.

Shannon - Pretty good, actually. Best dance so far of the night. I kind of hate the Jive on principle, but great energy. What was that dress though? Reminded me of the 5th grade play when we had to do the Charleston.

Adam - DAMN, Adam. Vast improvement. Julianne is a miracle worker. Hot wig, too.

Marissa - Ok, so the judges were tough, but they were right on. You got more than that in you, and it was pretty lackluster for what you're capable of. That being said...totally better than a 19. I still heart you, though.

Priscilla - Pretty saucy, Priscilla. Pretty saucy. Your facial expressions were perfect. The footwork, though...left something to be desired. Kicks could've been higher, steps more precise and elegant. You'll probably get better scores than Marissa, but honestly, I don't think yours was that much better.

DID YOU SEE THE PREVIEW FOR GREY'S ANATOMY? APRIL 24TH!!!! MCDREAMY, I HAVE MISSED YOU SORELY.

Um, Priscilla, you totally did not deserve those two 9s girl. Not 9-worthy at all.

Jason - Could we have more of you pulling up your shirt during the pre-dance rehearsal montage? I glimpsed your abs and uh...well, I couldn't stop undressing you with my eyes during the actual dance. Technically, good stuff. Yet, something was missing - a little flat overall.

Kristi is last, as always. The producers clearly know who the front-runner is and who people are tuning in to watch.

Kristi - Judges are so right about you - the moves are golden, the emotion was definitely lacking. Put it out there, Kristi. You do that, this competition is in the bag.

Best Overall Performance: Shannon (sort of pains me to say that, but it had the best combo of technique and performance)

Worst Overall Performance: Maybe Marissa, but I truly hate to say that.

Want to Get the Boot: Cristian

Prediction on the Boot: Steve (while I think everyone loves him, I think they'll vote for others as their "fave")
