Very, very interesting

Go visit nkotb.com.

It has a countdown of some sort...appears to be counting down until 6am on Friday (unless my math is screwed up).

Something BIG better be brewin'.

Here's your New Kids youtube of the day, enjoy.

(The song starts around 2:00; Jordan does a bodyroll around 3:30 that leaves me speechless.)

Observations:

1) I seriously want that Batman belt buckle.

2) Joes' hat doesn't have a top and his smiley face has a bandana.

3) John's jeans...are they tight rolled or just high-water rolled?

4) Donnie's Home-boy shirt...I un-secretly still kind of love it.

5) Are those f-ing seahorses on Danny's shirt??!! No wonder no one ever liked him - their stylist dressed him like an idiot.

I'm sorry...I can't resist posting this clip, too. I always loved this dance because they do the flip. (Song starts around 1:45)

Observations and Personal Comments:

Video 1
1. I totally forgot that Jordan sounded like a giant black man.
2. At about 4 mins. into the video, the 2 guys w/ mullets in the audience rocking out are awesome.
3. Jordan touches the rim of his hat no fewer than 792 times.
4. Danny just needs slapped.
5. Jon - still gay.
6. Rat tails.
7. Is it just me, or did anyone else's childhood crush instantly come back for these ridiculous boys?
8. I'm pretty sure I danced with dudes just like this this past weekend. No joke.

Video 2
1. In the 4th grade, I rewrote the words to Covergirl to Coverboy and sang it to my boyfriend over the phone. In real life, he's now gay. I take full responsibility.
2. Jon really gets his ass out there in that opening move. Still gay.
3. Niki--we need to do Covergirl in karaoke--WITH THE DANCE. Legendary.

I can't believe I spelled Jon's name wrong. Clearly I was out of it last night (also, the apostrophe in Joe's is all jacked up in the post - whoops).

Neal - if you and I can do the Covergirl dance with a FLIP - we'll be all-time karaoke champs for realz. And is there a tape of you singing that song to your 4th grade bf? Priceless.

Four thoughts:

1) I totally love you for posting all of this.

2) If I had been pulled on stage at that age, I totally could have danced better than that girl.

3) What the hell is up with the horrible choreography? I know it was the 90s, but damn, couldn't they afford someone better than that?

4) Just wanted to say again that I totally love you for posting this. There is little that is more fun right now than watching old nkotb performances.
