In all the hulabaloo surrounding the election and my trip to the mountains, I have slacked off in my Rafael Nadal obsession. Luckily, I am forced to write every day of November about "sport," so naturally this will include a couple of tennis/Rafa posts.
Much to my dismay, I rejoin the Rafa-mania to learn that Rafa has tendonitis in his right knee. He withdrew from the Masters Cup in Paris due to the injury, and is doubtful for the Davis Cup championships Nov 21-23.
I have been greatly looking forward to the Davis Cup this year, as I know that Rafa really wanted to win this team competition. Spain takes on Argentina for the trophy, and even if Nadal can't play, I will be cheering on the Spanish team.
Here's hoping Rafa's knee heals well, hopefully for the Davis Cup, but especially so that it doesn't affect next year's pro tour.

YUM to Rafa's arms.
You are so funny! 'As I know that Rafa really wanted to win...' Sounds like y'all are BFF! Which I know you would love to be. But maybe BFWithBenefitsF?
