Sunrise, Sunset

This summer has been incredible, almost better than I could ask for, really. It has been one fun adventure after another. A smile has been nearly permanently afixed on my face.

Tonight, it is over. Fall is slowly replacing Summer. My heart is becoming heavy with dread as I anticipate colder temperatures and no imminent adventures on the horizon.

I know more good times will come, but they just seem to naturally arise in the summer like no other time of year. I always hate this part, the part where I have to put my summer in a box of memories.

Sure, I should and could have a better attitude about the changing of the seasons. I will probably work on that tomorrow.

Tonight, though, tonight it is over. And I am sad.
