It's not Vanity Fair, but it's close

Here are the 5 burning questions and my attempt at answers from Ashley's interview:

1) What is your favorite thing about Charlottesville?
It's definitely not the snow, or the law library, or the traffic. Probably it's the Saturday morning market during spring and summer. There's lots of allegedly local, fresh produce and tons of other goodies if you can get your butt out of bed. Also, it's got the best donuts you've ever had in your life.

2) You're stranded on the coast of Australia with just 5 cds, what are they?
I don't even know how to even begin to answer this one, so I'm going to sort of cheat. One of them would have to be a mixed cd of all my favorite Bright Eyes songs. Of course since I'm in Australia and probably surfing, I must have a compilation of Jack Johnson. Also going to need some Ben Harper, so I choose Live From Mars. An Indigo Girls album of some sort is essential, but which one?? Maybe I'll go with 1200 Curfews since it's a live disc and also two discs and has lots of variety. The fifth is a toss-up. I'm really digging the new Dixie Chicks album, Taking the Long Way right now, so I'll say that one, but it could change in an instant. In fact, it's entirely possible I'll come back and edit this question once I remember that I can't believe I forgot X.

3) If you could continue your globe-trotting right now, what would be your destination and why?
This one is easy. Africa. Seeing the gorillas in the Congo is my ultimate travel fantasy. Then of course there are lions, leopards, elephants, and alligators further south as well as a very special friend.

4) What quality about yourself do you like the most? (Go ahead and brag - we all know you're fabulous!)
Hmmm...I am fabulous, so how do I pick one? I was going to write my sense of adventure, but then I thought, "what if I was a rich asshole who traveled the world but treated everyone like shit?" So I'm going to say that I'm most proud that I care about other people and living things and try to both a) help them and b) live my life in a way that doesn't hurt them.

5) Use one word to describe high school, college and law school.
I'm not sure if I get one word to describe all three, in which case it would be "drama" or if I get one word for each one. High School - angst. College - growth. Law school - frustrating.

Still want to get in on the action? Just leave me a comment saying "interview me" and I'll send you 5 questions!

I have to concur about your five CDs. That was sort of a trick question.

And your two favorite things about yourself are two of my favorite things, too. Those and that we seem to live in parallel universes a lot of the time. :)
